Do a contrastive analysis for the people you are teaching to. It can be very useful. -

And also, especially for people who have been learning in their home countries, major accent problems for advanced learners.

She recommended me a good book.
and
I'm going on cottage in the nature at weekend.
Confusing the meanings of 'borrow' and 'lend' (reversing the from and to) is a common problem, too.
